Fc Barcelona to persuade Dembele to Renew

Ousmane Dembélé, a promising winger whose contract expires in 2022 and whom FC Barça wants to extend his contract but is delaying for the time being, and it’s causing a real Headache for the club.

They believe that the winger wants to stay with Barcelona, but that his agent is brainwashing him, telling him that leaving would be beneficial because he would earn more money and be better regarded on a sports and economic level abroad.

It would be the same for the agent because he knows that moving his client will result in a profit for him.

In this situation, FC Barça has devised a strategy with Dembélé. And this is accomplished by attempting to persuade him that staying at Camp Nou is the best option, even if it means increasing the offer he has gotten from other clubs.

To persuade the footballer to “buy” the notion, and knowing that his agent isn’t up to the task, the  Blaugrana club has devised a roadmap with Ousmane that lays out the measures to take.

On the one hand, Barça has set a maximum reaction period of one month for the renewal proposal. The club believes that they cannot spend the entire year monitoring a player as outstanding as the French and that you must know what to expect as soon as possible.

They will aim to place Ousmane on the winter market if he does not sign his contract extension, among other reasons, before allowing him to leave for free in July 2022.

Ousmane states that he intends to continue.

The Barça club, on the other hand, has made it plain that Dembélé’s agent is delaying the club’s proposals because he wants to get his player out of Camp Nou and into another project.

Instead, they trust the footballer’s word that he wants to stay with Barça. For this reason, at the club they have urged to talk Dembélé directly, that is, to focus their efforts on convincing him, knowing that he is the one who wants to remain and, in the end, the one who commands.

Both prominent managers and executives in the sports industry, as well as Ronald Koeman, have organized to speak directly to Ousmane in this fight to reinvigorate him.

As a result, both Mateu Alemany, the football director, and Ramon Planes, the technical secretary, are already concentrating their efforts on persuading Dembélé to stay. President Laporta and the sports vice president, Rafa Yuste, are doing the same.

Koeman is also in this camp, and he believes the Frenchman can make a significant contribution. In summary, it’s about counteracting Ousmane’s agent’s influence and persuading the crack that the ideal place for him is at Barça, where he’ll be renewed because he sees a different player in him.

Is Dembele an important member of the team?

This club’s culé strategy also makes the forward understand that, even though they provide him a low-paying contract, he can win a lot of money through incentives, and that this is a wonderful challenge to take on.

Along these lines, they want to make it clear that they believe in him because he is regarded as a key player in the team’s present and future, owing to his status as a unique and different footballer, with enormous conditions for overflow and rupture, both in speed and static, thanks to his exceptional ball-handling ability.

The club is always there for you him

Additionally, the club wants Dembélé to see that the club has always stood by his side (paying a fortune to sign him and accompanying him through all his injuries) and that now he has to be close to the club when he has to handle a delicate situation.

If Ousmane isn’t sure about his renewal, there’s some discussion in the club about how to handle him, whether it’s sending him to the stands or not.

It weighed more in the sports section from the start to throw him aside if he refused to sign, similar to what was done with Alex. However, he has recently been used regardless of what occurs, as PSG is doing with a Mbappé who is not currently under contract but to whom he is giving a buffer in case he reconsiders and who he does not want to waste.

Although Dembélé already worked with the group yesterday, he is likely to be included on the list against Alavés on Saturday if he is already on the list.
